UdeM advances in Times Higher Education rankings

UdeM has placed 103rd in the prestigious Times Higher Education of World University Rankings.

This year, the University of Montreal has placed 103rd in the prestigious Times Higher Education of World University Rankings. This is ten places higher than last year and ranks UdeM fourth among Canada’s best universities.

The Times Higher Education Rankings judges research-intensive universities across all their core missions: teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook. Compared to 980 other universities from 79 countries, UdeM especially stood out this year in the international outlook category.

“This higher ranking for the University of Montreal confirms our increasing reputation on the international stage. Our sustained effort to promote our achievements worldwide, but also the pride of University of Montreal graduates, and their reputation, know no borders. Members of our community are the greatest ambassadors for our university, and this place among the world’s best universities is everyone’s achievement,” said UdeM Rector, Guy Breton.
