Jeff Heinrich has been the international press officer at Université de Montréal since November 2016. A journalist for over 25 years, mostly at Montreal’s The Gazette, he is trilingual and holds dual citizenship. He has reported from 28 countries, covering major stories such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, AIDS in Africa, Israel-Palestine relations, postwar reconstruction in Kosovo, and self-censorship in Hong Kong. Over the years, he has won many awards, including the Judith-Jasmin Prize.
